FRED GITELMAN is president of Bridge Base
Inc., which produces educational bridge software. His VuGraph
program is used in almost every major tournament worldwide. He has
also developed software that creates interactive CDs, including
My Favorite 52 by Larry Cohen, Eddie Kantar's Advanced
Bridge Defense and Modern Bridge Defense
and others from Bergen, Lawrence and Woolsey. He is a world ranked
player having won one gold and two silver medals representing
Canada, and represented the US at the 2005 Bermuda Bowl. Fred has
also won the 2005 Spingold Teams, 2003 Cavendish Pairs and 2006
Lebhar IMP Pairs. He was named 2005 Honorary Member of the Year by
